Sure i'm not the only one, so if anybody can provide me with a reliable method to solve this you'd be a hero in my books. I've basically got a useless console until this connectivity issue is resolved, and so help me god if anybody tells me to use Wired I will probably scream - I pay for WiFi, I want WiFi! Reading online it seems that there may be settings that are required like disabling AX or something on the router, but i've logged in and there is no AX band. I figured perfect - it'll be sorted for a Friday night gaming session.
Muddying the waters even more, Virgin emailed me yesterday to say they'd upgraded my Router. My PS4 Pro has always connected to the WiFi without issue, and then I try the PS5 and everything is super slow, i'm lagging all over the place on WZ, FIFA keeps disconnecting me, and I couldn't even play the console for the first 20 hours because of how slow the downloads were. I've just received my new PS5 in the last 48 hours - yay! you would think, but no.
